MSU, Tirunelveli Undergraduate Admission 2019: BBA, B.Com, B.Sc & BA

Manonmaniam Sundaranar University offers BA, B.Com., BBA., and B.Sc. in various specializations at the Undergraduate level.

The basic eligibility criteria for B.A., B.Com, BBA and B.Sc. courses is a pass in 10+2/10+3-yr Polytechnic Diploma/ 10+2 Diploma in teacher training with relevant subjects from a recognized board or equivalent accepted by the university.

Admission to these courses solely based on merit as per marks obtained in last qualifying examination. However, students applying for B.Sc Physical Education need to appear in Field Test, Skill & Game Test organized by the concerned University department.

MSU, Tirunelveli ME & M.Tech Admission 2019

The university offers ME & M.Tech courses at the Postgraduate level In the field of Engineering in total 2 specializations.

The minimum eligibility to apply is a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology in the relevant or concerned specialization from a university recognized by MSU.

The selection of students shall be strictly done through valid GATE score. There is no minimum percentage of marks required in Bachelor’s degree to appear in GATE 2019, however, the university demands minimum 50% marks in last qualifying examination.

MSU, Tirunelveli MCA & MBA Admission 2019

The professional courses offered by the University at the Postgraduate level are MBA & MCA. MBA is offered in 3 specializations MCA is also offered in Lateral Entry mode.

MBA applicants should have a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with minimum 50% marks in aggregate as minimum eligibility. The eligibility to seek admission to MCA is a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with minimum 50% and with Mathematics as a subject at degree or +2 level.

Admission to MCA & MBA will be done on the basis of score obtained in TANCET 2019, organized by Anna University. The final selection is derived from group discussion and personal interviews rounds organized by University Department.

MSU, Tirunelveli Postgraduate Admission 2019: MA, M.Com, M.Sc,  MSW, MHRD, MJMC, M.P.Ed & M.Ed

At the Postgraduate level, Manonmaniam University also offers degree courses of MA, M.Com, M.Sc, MSW, MJMC, M.P.Ed, M.Ed and MHRD. The merit list for these courses shall be derived after considering marks obtained in qualifying Class 12th/ Undergraduate / Postgraduate Examination and Entrance Examination in 50:50 proportions. The Entrance Examination for each subject shall be organized by the concerned University departments.

The basic eligibility for MA, MJMC, M.Ed., M.P.Ed., M.Com., MSW, M.L.I.Sc. and MHRD is a Bachelor’s Degree in the relevant field from either M.S University or other recognized university. For M.P.Ed. and MHRD programs, the aspirants should have completed the Bachelor’s degree with minimum 50% aggregate in the qualifying examinations. Those applying for courses in M.Sc need to have bachelor’s degree in the concerned or related subject from MSU or from any other university recognized by the Syndicate of MSU.

Admission to MA, M.Sc. (2-year and 5-year), MJMC, M.Ed., M.P.Ed., M.Com., MSW and MHRD programs are granted on the basis of merit obtained in the qualifying examination and the student’s qualification in the Entrance Test organized by the university.

MSU, Tirunelveli Ph.D., M.Phil & PDF Admission 2019

MSU awards degrees in M.Phil and Ph.D. at the research level in various specializations. Ph.D. is offered in full-time and part-time modes. PDF (Post Doctoral Fellowship) is also offered by the university.

The students interested in pursuing M.Phil degree course need to possess master’s degree in the concerned or allied subject as recognized by MSU with at least 50% marks. Those applying for the Ph.D. program must have a master’s degree in the concerned or allied subject with minimum 55% marks.

Admission to both M.Phil, Ph.D. & PDF courses is done on the basis of entrance exam organized by the respective University Department. Ph.D. students final selection shall be subject to their performance in personal interview.
