Anna University Bit Campus, Tiruchirappalli (AUBIT), erstwhile Anna University of Technology, Tiruchirappalli is a technical university department of Anna University, located at Tiruchirappalli, Tamil Nadu, India. It was established on 1999 as a part of Bharathidasan University with five departments viz., Bio-Technology, Paper and Pulp Technology, Petrochemical Technology, Information Technology and Pharmaceutical Technology. In 2007, due to management constrains Anna University was split into six universities, namely: Anna University, Chennai; Anna University, Chennai – Taramani Campus; Anna University Chennai – Regional Office, Tiruchirappalli; Anna University Chennai – Regional Office, Coimbatore; Anna University Chennai – Regional Office, Madurai; Anna University Chennai – Regional Office, Tirunelveli.Government acquired this campus from Bharathidasan Universityand renamed it as Anna University Tiruchirappalli in 2007.The university is an accredited university with powers to grant affiliations to colleges and universities conducting graduate and post graduate studies, as well as diploma courses, and is so recognized by the UGC.

The campus placement activities for more than 3000 students belonging to engineering/management departments are regularly carried out for improved performance and placement probability. The Centre for University and Industrial collaboration (CUIC/Placement cell) provides the infra-structural facilities to organize group discussions, tests and interviews besides catering to other logistics. The Office interacts with many industries in the country, of which nearly 200 companies visit the campus for holding campus interviews.

Students having passed 12th (10+2) Higher Secondary Examination with 50% marks as aggregate. , having Mathematics as a subject of study and obtained 80 marks out of 200 in NATA(National Aptitude Test for Architecture) test in any one of the attempt.
