About Bharathidasan University (BDU)

The Palkalaiperur campus [main campus] of the University is located in a sprawling area of over 500 acres of land on the Tiruchirappalli-Pudukkottai highway (NH 210). Majority of the Schools and Departments of Teaching and Research, as well as specialized Research Centres, are located in the Main Palkalaiperur Campus. To accommodate the outstation students, there are eight Hostels with modern kitchen and dining facilities in the Campus. The University's Central Library, Administrative Building, the Sports Complex, Bank, Post Office, Canteen, Health Centre, Staff Quarters, Guest House etc., are all located in the main campus.

Students can Download their Respective Semester Exams Scheme for Master Degree Programme, Bachelor Degree Programme, Diploma & Advance Diploma Programme & Certificates Programme, the course will be held in August/ December for all Semester Exams, Exams will be held in two sessions Forenoon & Afternoon. Time Limit for Exam is 3 Hours. Students are advised to keep in touch with the website check notification timely.

The Students who are going to appear for the annual exams advised downloading admit card before the few weeks of regular examination. Without the entry card, aspirants will not allow giving their examinations. The postulants need to have the roll number to get the hall ticket on the official main portal.

Bharathidasan University (BDU) Postgraduate Admission 2019: MA, M.Sc, MCA, MSW, M.Ed, MPA & M.Li.Sc

At Postgraduate level, the university offers MA, M.Sc, MCA, MSW, M.Ed, MPA & M.Li.Sc courses in various specializations. Bachelor’s degree in the relevant discipline is the minimum eligibility criteria for admission. Admission is granted on the basis of marks in the last qualifying examination. The university also offers PG Diploma (Full-time/ Part-time) to any degree holder on the basis of merit.

Bharathidasan University (BDU) MBA & M.Tech Admission 2019

BDU offers admission to full-time MBA and M.Tech courses in different streams for the duration of two years. Any graduate degree is required for MBA while BE/ B.Tech in the relevant discipline is mandatory for the M.Tech program. The university also offers an integrated M.Tech program in various specializations. MBA admission is based on a valid score in TANCET/ GATE/ CAT/ MAT or GMAT. M.Tech admission is subject to marks in BE/ B.Tech.

Bharathidasan University (BDU) MA & M.Sc (Integrated) Admission 2019

Aspirants can apply for admission to integrated MA and M.Sc programs with respect to their marks in 12th (10+2). Aspirants with valid subject combinations in 12th (10+2) are eligible to apply for these courses.

Bharathidasan University (BDU) B.P.Ed, B.Voc Admission 2019

At Undergraduate level, the university offers B.P.Ed, B.Voc, BCA (Hearing Impairment) and Diploma courses in various specializations. The minimum eligibility criteria are 12th (10+2) in the relevant subject group. Admission is offered on the basis of merit in 12th (10+2). Aspirants have to appear in the Proficiency Test and Fitness Test to secure admission in B.P.Ed.

Bharathidasan University (BDU) M.Phil & Ph.D. Admission 2019

The university offers M.Phil & Ph.D. programs under Full-Time/ Part-Time and Independent Research (Full-Time/ Part-time) scheme. There are four registration sessions for the Ph.D. program, namely, January, April, July, and October.

Postgraduate degree in the related discipline with 55% marks is the desired eligibility criteria for application. Aspirants have to qualify in university-based written Test and interview to secure admission in these courses.

DD must be drawn in favor of University, payable at TIRUCHIRAPPALLI – 620 024.
• The application form may be downloaded from the official website. OR Students must send Demand Draft in favor of ‘Bharathidasan University’, Payable at Tiruchirappalli – 620 024 along with filled in application form.
