Sastra University B.Tech Admission 2019

The university offers B.Tech admission under Regular/ Integrated and Lateral Entry modes in various disciplines. 12th (10+2) (PCM/B) with 50% marks is the minimum eligibility criteria for B.Tech (Regular & Integrated) while B.Sc or Diploma in the related discipline is mandatory for B.Tech (Lateral Entry).

For B.Tech (Regular/ Integrated), 70% seats are filled on the basis of JEE Main while the rest 30% seats will be filled on the basis of marks in 12th (10+2). B.Tech (Lateral Entry) admission is based on the marks in 12th (10+2) only.

Sastra University Undergraduate Admission 2019: LL.B, BA-LL.B, B.Com-LL.B, B.Com, B.Ed & B.Sc-B.Ed

Sastra University also offers LL.B, BA-LL.B, B.Com-LL.B, B.Com, B.Ed & B.Sc-B.Ed courses in various at Undergraduate level. 12th (10+2) is the minimum eligibility criteria for application. CLAT qualified Students are eligible to apply for LL.B and Integrated Law courses. For other courses, marks in 12th (10+2) will be considered for admission.

Sastra University M.Tech & M.Sc Admission 2019

M.Tech and M.Sc courses are offered for the duration of two years in various specializations at Postgraduate level. GATE passed Students can apply for M.Tech while admission to M.Sc is based on merit only. BE/ B.Tech or M.Sc is the minimum eligibility criteria for M.Tech and B.Sc in the related discipline is mandatory for M.Sc.

Sastra University MBA & MCA Admission 2019

Sastra University also offers MBA and MCA programs at Postgraduate level. Graduation is the minimum eligibility required for MBA. Students must have studied Mathematics at 12th (10+2) or Graduation level for MCA program. MBA admission is offered through CAT/ XAT/ ATMA or CMAT score while merit is sufficient for MCA. 

Sastra University Ph.D. Admission 2019

Sastra University offers admission to the Ph.D. program in three modes, i.e., Full-Time (Internal), Part-Time (Internal). Master’s degree in the relevant discipline with 55% marks in aggregate is the minimum eligibility criteria for admission.

Ph.D. registrations are performed quarterly, i.e., in the month of January, April, July, and October. Admission is based on the university written test and interview. Final admission is subject to a presentation before the selection committee, work experience and statement of purpose.

Interested Aspirants can apply for research program by submitting completed applications along with the processing fee and supporting documents. The fee can be submitted through online (Debit/ Credit Card/ Net banking) as well as offline (demand draft) payment modes.

Sastra University BTech (Offline)

STEP 1: The Students have to first download the application form here or also on the official website of the University. Now the Students have to fill the application form by providing basic personal details, educational details, qualifying exam details, contact, and address details. The Students also have to paste the required passport size color photographs at space given in the application form.

STEP 2: Fee Payment: Now the Students have to make payment of the application fee of Rs.650 through bank demand draft (DD) which should be in favor of "Sastra" and payable at Thanjavur.

STEP 3: Now the Students have to submit the filled application form along with demand draft of the application fee. The Students have to send the application form and DD in the envelope to the address given below:

STEP 4: Once the filled application form along with application fee DD submitted, the Students will be intimated of the application number through e-mail. The Students will also receive a copy of the brochure.

To fill the online application form, the Students have to first register themselves by providing some basic details such as name, email address, mobile number, course applying for, age etc.
